How to reset your mindset in just 10 minutes a day

Ever feel like you’re doing all the things but your mind is running in a million directions? Between motherhood, work, and chasing your goals, it’s easy to forget how powerful a few moments of presence can be. Here’s a 10-minute daily mindset reset routine you can actually stick to—one that will ground your energy and help you show up as your best self.
1. Start with Stillness
Find a quiet spot—your bathroom counts! Set a timer for 2 minutes. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. There’s no pressure to meditate perfectly—just be still and let your nervous system slow down.
2. Write Down Three Gratitudes
In your journal (or the notes app, let’s be real), list three things you’re grateful for. They don’t have to be big. A hot cup of coffee, sunshine, or a quiet moment all count. This shifts your brain into a more positive state.
3. Repeat a Daily Affirmation
Pick one affirmation and repeat it aloud or write it down three times. Try: “I am allowed to rest and recharge.” Need more ideas? Download my printable Self-Care Affirmation Cards for inspiration all week long.
4. Visualize Your Best Self
Close your eyes for another 2 minutes. Picture the most grounded, confident version of yourself. What is she doing today? How does she walk into a room? Let that version of you lead your decisions today.
5. Take One Tiny Aligned Action
Ask yourself: What’s one thing I can do today that aligns with my calm, intentional self? Drink water, stretch, say no, log off early—choose one small step and celebrate it.
You Deserve a Daily Reset
You don’t need a perfect morning routine or an hour of journaling. You just need 10 minutes of mindful intention. Try this simple practice for a few days and see how different you feel.
