About

Hey there. I’m Shay

I’m a thirty-something wife, school counselor and mom of two.

I have a knack for scouring Pinterest after my kids are asleep and stressing my husband out with all the DIY projects I think “we” can do. I am just trying to survive the never ending cycle of laundry while raising kind humans not listening to all that great unsolicited parenting advice.

I started this blogging journey as way to get all the words out of my ADHD mind and share my story about how gratitude and mindfulness pulled me out of some of the hardest days and changed my life.

I am passionate about mental health and reducing the stigma behind it, the art of practicing mindfulness and just loving one another. Life is too short for anything else.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my daughter, son, and husband, binge-watching Dateline or Hallmark Mysteries and snuggling up with a warm cup of coffee on the patio in my pajamas.

Come as you are. I am happy you are here, in whatever way you can show up.

~Shay
