How to achieve your goals with success:
Think back to January and February when you set your New Year’s resolutions. Even if you didn’t make resolutions, perhaps you established a goal or chose a word for the year. As we approach the end of the year, it’s a great time to check in on your goal.

- Define your goal
- Create a detailed plan
- Maintain consistency and focus
- Prepare for challenges
- Execute with intention
- Reflect and adapt
Define your goal and create detailed plan:
Reflect on the goal you’ve set for yourself and ensure it’s clearly defined. If you’re close to achieving it, consider setting a stretch goal to challenge yourself further. Create a list of actionable steps you can take to reach this stretch goal, and commit to dedicating time to complete these steps by the end of the year.
Execute with intention and reflect and adapt:
Once you’ve established your goal and plan, consider how consistently you’ll need to work toward it to reach your target. Ensure you allocate enough time in your schedule so that if challenges arise, you can easily re-engage with your goal and maintain the consistency necessary for success.
As you near the final stages of your project, approach your tasks with a strong sense of purpose. Focus on the details and ensure your work showcases your best efforts—this is your moment to shine. Once your project is complete, take the time to reflect on what worked and what didn’t. Gather feedback and analyze your performance to pinpoint areas for improvement.”
My goals
My goal for the year was fairly broad. I wanted to focus on being more intentional and present, particularly with my two growing kids at home. As a mom, I’ve come to realize just how quickly time passes.
